Dakota Blue Richards
Dakota Blue Richards is an English actress who is best known for her role as Lyra Belacqua from the film "The Golden Compass" and Franky Fitzgerald in the third generation cast of British teenager drama "Skins'. Additionally, she has been active on stage, performing in stage productions of plays such as "Arcadia" and "A Streetcar Named Desire'. Richards, a Londoner by birth, grew up along her home on the Sussex coast. She took some drama lessons in school, but most acting classes were on Saturdays. In addition, she went to school only for auditions. 'The Golden Compass' was her first film appearance as an actor. Richards acting performance was well-received by many, despite the film receiving a mixed response. The actress made her TV debut the next year in the documentary Dustbin Baby.
