Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox's parents are Dorothy Fharquharson and Thomas Allison Lennox. Dorothy Farquharson was her mother, while Thomas Allison Lennox was her father. Lennox had studied for three years at the Royal Academy of Music London in the 1970s, was admitted. The budget of her was augmented by a stipend to students as well as part-time employment. Lennox was a student at the Royal Academy of Music in London, was not happy in her performance when as compared to the performance of her classmates. She began considering other options. Lennox started her professional career in the year 1976, as a member of a band called Dragons Playground. The group did not make it to the competition for talent New Faces on I.T.V. Her main role was as the lead singer in The Tourists from 1977 until 1980. In this band, she met Dave Stewart who would later join Eurythmics. Then, Lennox began working on her first solo album Diva which came out in 1992. The album had a tremendous success both commercially and critically. Nostalgia Lennoxs 6th solo album was launched in October of 2014. The C.D. Lennox chose her most loved blues and soul tracks. Additionally, in May 2019, Lennox has released Lepidoptera which is a compilation of four improvised piano tracks. The E.P. The album is a companion of her "Now I let you go... artwork, which was displayed at Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. The album is her first self-released album. Annie Lennox (born December 25 1955) is a Scottish musician and political activist. The Tourists were a new-wave group who had some recognition in the 1970s. Later, Lennox joined fellow musician Dave Stewart to form the pop duo Eurythmics. In 1992, Lennox began her solo career, releasing the release of her first album Diva which yielded numerous successful songs, such as Why and Walking in Broken Glass. Medusa her 1995 studio album includes cover versions of tracks such asNo MoreI I Love Yous andA Whiter Shade of Pale. Her six studio solo albums and the compilation album include a number of hits.
